Tear open the foil where indicated and take out the sealed coffee bag.
Holding the cardboard collar with both hands, tear open the top of the bag, being carful not to spill any coffee grounds.

 

Pinch each end of the cardboard together which should release two wings at the side and a front tab. Ensure the three hooks are securely positioned on the rim of the cup/ mug and the bag is open. 

 

 

Slowly pour freshly boiled water over the coffee.  Be careful not to let the coffee over flow.  Allow the water to filter through before filling a couple of times as required.

 

When the water is at the desired level in the cup/ mug, unhook the wings and holding the cardboard lift it out of the water.  Hold above the cup/mug for a few seconds, squeezing the cardboard together allowing the water to fully drain through.  Dispose of the bag.
